- 1. texMATE INSTALL.
texMATE needs CINEMA4D R15.057 to be installed. Place or replace the unzipped "texMATE" folder into
the "plugins" folder in /user/preferences.
Found via Edit -> Preferences -> "Open Preferences Folder…"
Keep everything inside the "texMATE" folder as is for intended functionality!
As texMATE is a Command Plugin, you only need to install it in your Work station
as it is not used/needed for NET.
If prompted, re-start Cinema again for texMATE to register its settings. The texMATE Command is then found in the Plugins Menu. NOTE: texMATE includes a complementary "copyFROMCB.cof" COFFEE Plugin that texMATE
uses for copying bitmaps from the Content Browser. This 'texMATE_Helper' is greyed out in
the Plugins Menu and only run from within texMATE.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- 2. OVERVIEW:
texMATE copies all linked files from the document to a selected folder.
The files are the ones found in Project Settings -> Textures.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- 3. SETTINGS
There are no Settings for texMATE, you only run texMATE from the Plugin Menu.
You select a Collecting folder and all found files are copied into this folder.
texMATE information is printed in the Console (Scripts->Console) NOTE: texMATE collects any texture even via Relative Paths.
If you might have several textures with the same name in your Global Paths settings,
you can re-link Relative Paths to Absolute Paths using pathMATE prior to extracting/
collecting the textures.
Cheers
