今天分享的这个插件是多边形建模必不可少的一个优秀插件，他能快速的将三角面模型布线转换为四边面。
Quadrangler 是一种菜单工具，可从三角化的多边形对象重建四边形。三角测量发生例如导出为 3DS 或其他交换格式时。因此，您会在互联网上免费找到许多高分辨率的 3d 对象，但其中大部分都是经过三角剖分的。

Quadrangler 速度非常快，可以提供完美的结果或没有结果。它会在不是三角剖分结果的三角网格上失败，但例如来自 3d 扫描仪。在大多数情况下，您可以看到三角多边形网格后面的四边形，您可能想知道，为什么内置的三角剖分工具没有 :-)

Quadrangler is a menu tool that reconstructs the quadrangles from a triangulated polygon object. Triangulation happens e.g. when exporting to 3DS or other exchange formats. So you will find a lot of high resolution 3d objects for free on the internet, but most of them were triangulated.

Quadrangler is very fast and delivers a perfect result or no result. It will fail on tri-meshes that are not the result of a triangulation but e.g. come from an 3d scanner. In most cases you can see the quadrangles behind a triangulated polygon mesh and you may wonder, why the built-in triangulation tool doesn't :-)

Quadrangler can be applied to complex object hierachies and multiple object selections. If the tool fails, it maybe could not recognised which triangles  belong together. In this case, you can select two triangles in polygon mode  that should build a quad to help the tool analyzing.

Install the tool by copying the folder "Quadrangler" from the C4D folder that matches your Cinema 4D version to the plug-ins folder of the preferences folder of Cinema 4D or any other folder that you have defined in the preferences.
